Join us at your library every Wednesday, through July 30, this summer as we Color Our World with creativity, imagination, and interactive fun! Each week features exciting programs for kids and families! Children 3rd and younger must be accompanied by a grown up.🦅✨ Meet the Raptors! ✨🦅 Kids in grades K–6 and their grownups are invited to CCPL Wednesday, June 18 at 3pm to get up close and personal with real live birds of prey in this thrilling, educational program presented by the Black Hills Raptor Center! Learn all about hawks, owls, falcons, and more — how they hunt, where they live, and why they’re so important to our world. Don’t miss this unforgettable encounter with some of nature’s fiercest flyers!
Kids birth through 6th grade are also invited to stop by the Children's Department to pick up summer reading portfolios to track reading time and earn prizes all summer long. Portfolios also include a list of the following not-to-be-missed Wednesday events:
