Description

National Repeal Day, December 5th the day that the country was “dry no more”, as Amendment 21 was ratified, and Amendment 18 was repealed. Join us at the Rockpile Museum while we celebrate the end of Prohibition in Wyoming with guest speaker Lucas Fralick, who will talk about state and local prohibition history. Appetizers will be provided, and Prohibition era drinks will be available for purchase, courtesy of the Railyard. Must be 21 or older to enter Saloon, but all ages are encouraged to attend the program. About the Speaker: Lucas Fralick holds an MA in History from the University of Wyoming with a focus on 20th century American politics and policy. Fralick has called Gillette home for the better part of two decades. Currently, he is the Program Coordinator for Wyoming Humanities and works from home. Fralick also serves on the Campbell County Rockpile Museum Board and the Gillette Historic Preservation Commission.
