On November 11, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. the Rockpile Museum and Campbell County UW Extension’s Wyoming Walks series invite you to join us on a walk-through of Mount Pisgah cemetery to honor and remember Campbell County Veterans and their service. This free walk will be led by Rockpile Museum volunteer Greg Bennick and will begin in section B in the lower part of the cemetery near the American Legion section (look for the Yellow UW flag). The tour will stop at seven different locations to discuss the service of nine men and women that served our nation. Hear stories about the bravery, valor, and sacrifice of Veterans from the Civil War to the Korean War as well as details on their lives after the conflict ended. Dress warm and wear sturdy shoes. Participants are invited to stay after the tour to help cemetery staff and volunteers to gather flags.
